Batteries in Application
The sustainable and CO2-neutral mobility of the future will be based mainly on batteries. In addition, batteries can significantly mitigate the volatility of renewable energy generation and energy consumption in the range of up to several hours of full-load energy equivalent. Batteries are also a suitable technology to avoid grid overloading and to smooth peak load demands. They are also the decisive component in electromobility.

- Hardware development of power electronic circuits, intelligent battery controllers and cell integrated battery management and monitoring devices.
- New system design development approaches involving artificial intelligence and data-driven methods and full-scale generic twins.
